Join us in supporting Mt. Olive!
The “Charger Challenge” is Mt. Olive’s annual fundraising event. It’s a great opportunity for exercise, school fellowship and ice cream!
This year we are walking four miles for our school, Mt Olive Lutheran, on September 26th. 100% of the money we raise goes to our school!
THIS YEAR OUR SCHOOL GOAL IS $50,000!
The money raised will go towards technology upgrades, playground updates, fencing, outdoor speakers, athletic equipment, and secured fobbed doors throughout the school. In addition to these items, monies will be used to support our existing school programs/events throughout the school year. Please consider sponsoring our students!
This year is all about movement! Charger Challenge funds will go towards upgrading our playground and green spaces, an all weather sport court, roller skating unit for the school, and new gym equipment like agility ladders and jump ropes. As an added bonus, a generous donor will match dollar for dollar the first $50,000 raised. We have the potential to raise $100,000 in celebration of our 10th Charger Challenge! To God be the Glory!
How To Give Toward Mt. Olive!
You can safely and conveniently give toward the Charger Challenge online using Zeffy, our new online giving platform.
Zeffy covers all fees (including credit card fees). This platform is free for Mount Olive and other nonprofits to use. To cover their costs, Zeffy will ask you for an additional donation at the end of your transaction. If you would like to send money only to Mt. Olive select “other” and enter $0.00 under “confirm your donation”. Zeffy will still send 100% of your gift to Mount Olive.
However, Zeffy relies on people like us for their support, so feel free to throw a few dollars their way for letting us use this awesome platform to further Mt. Olive’s mission.
You can also always donate by sending a check to the Mt. Olive office, but know that the deadline to sponsor students Friday, September 19, at midnight!
Of course we will still accept late donations, but the committee cannot guarantee that the donations will get credited to the particular students the donor is sponsoring, which makes a difference for prizes.
