CLS News - April 2026
Students were given stickers of the new school logo and updated charger logo after the unveiling on April 27, 2026.
We are blessed and thankful for the continued prayers and support for Cornerstone as we move forward in this important work. It truly takes many to accomplish what is before us, and we are deeply grateful for the many individuals and groups who are giving their time, talents, and energy to support this effort.
Our school community had several wonderful opportunities to connect and support the school throughout March, including Grandparents Days, the Gala, and the Potluck. We are humbled by the generosity and commitment that made each of these events both meaningful and successful.
The Board of Directors continues to meet every two weeks as we work to support ongoing operations and plan for the future of Cornerstone. Several important milestones have recently been reached:
Visual Identity Released (4/27)
Cornerstone’s visual identity was officially unveiled, first shared with our students and then more broadly through our school website and social media. While the look is new, our mission remains unchanged—preparing students for the future, with Christ as their foundation.
Financial Aid Awards Distributed
Financial Aid award letters were recently mailed to families. We are thankful to be able to provide support to families as part of our commitment to making a Christ-centered education accessible. This process reflects both the generosity of our supporting congregations and the careful stewardship of available resources.
Principal Call Extended
On April 13, the Board of Directors issued a Divine Call to Mr. Nathan Bauer to serve as Principal of Cornerstone. Please continue to keep Mr. Bauer and his family in your prayers as he deliberates where God is calling him to serve.
Hillside Campus Preparation
Work continues at the Hillside Campus (110 North 6th Street) in preparation for the upcoming academic year. We are excited about this space and thankful for the many volunteer hours and donated efforts that are helping transform it into an excellent learning environment for our students.
Open Houses Held (4/28)
Cornerstone hosted Open Houses at both the Hilltop and Hillside campuses, providing an opportunity for current families, students, and prospective families to visit and experience the spaces firsthand.
Middle School Trip Approved
Cornerstone has approved a unique opportunity for our Middle School students (grades 6–8) to attend the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in 2027. We believe this will be a valuable and enriching experience that supports both academic growth and Christian community. Additional details will be shared in the future.
We remain thankful for God’s continued guidance and for the strong community that surrounds Cornerstone.
